What TakeCut does

For talking-head videos you record on your iPhone.

Ums, pauses, and dead air

TakeCut cuts filler words such as “um,” plus pauses, silence, and dead air. You can also tap a word in the transcript to cut it yourself.

Styled captions

Captions are burned into the export. The listing shows Clean, Bold, Minimal, and Karaoke styles.

Teleprompter

Paste a script and record with it on screen, next to the lens, with text size and scroll speed you can change.

Overlays

Add text, a logo, or an image or video overlay, and place it on the timeline.

Batch

Bring in more than one raw take, then come back to a library of finished clips.

Full quality, no watermark

The export does not stamp a TakeCut watermark on your video.

Plans on the App Store

Subscriptions are billed by Apple in the app. These are the current U.S. prices. The tools above are on every plan. The allowance is what changes.

U.S. App Store prices checked November 6, 2026. Apple shows the price for your account before you subscribe.
